St Michael's Galleria Area Emergency Room has served the Houston community as a dedicated emergency care facility for over two decades. Located at 9000 Westheimer Road, we are positioned to serve one of the city's busiest corridors — and we take that responsibility seriously.
Our facility is staffed around the clock by board-certified emergency physicians and experienced nursing professionals who understand that emergencies don't keep office hours. Whether it's 2 PM or 2 AM, you will receive the same level of attentive, competent care. We treat adults and children, accept most major insurance plans, and welcome walk-ins without an appointment.
If you're experiencing any of the following, come to our emergency room. When in doubt, it's always better to be evaluated.
Sudden or severe chest discomfort requires immediate evaluation.
Broken bones, dislocations, and severe joint injuries.
Deep lacerations, uncontrolled bleeding, and wound care.
Asthma attacks, severe allergic reactions, and respiratory distress.
Fever above 103°F, especially in children, warrants urgent care.
Concussions, loss of consciousness, and head trauma evaluation.
Appendicitis, kidney stones, and other acute abdominal conditions.
Call 911 first, then bring the patient to our ER immediately.
Our ER is designed for urgent conditions that need same-day attention. If someone is unconscious, having a heart attack, or struggling to breathe, dial 911 immediately. Paramedics can begin treatment on the way and coordinate with our team.
"The staff treated my son with such kindness when he had a severe allergic reaction. They moved fast, kept us calm, and made sure he was stable before we left. I couldn't be more grateful."
We're located on Westheimer Road, just west of Kirby Drive, with easy access from I-610 and the Texas Medical Center. Free parking is available on-site.
